The Administrative Specialist will greet customers, answer phones, maintain office supplies, plan and coordinate company events, support marketing activities, and support all departments as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer phones and transfer calls or take detailed messages and forward pertinent information to responsible parties;
- Greet and welcome visitors;
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings;
- Plan and coordinate company events;
- Write and edit documents from letters to reports and other various documents as needed;
- Manage office and kitchen supplies;
- Utilize social media for marketing and communication purposes;
- Assist with internal communications;
- Assist with special projects;
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years in an administrative position;
- Excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently;
- Ability to effectively establish positive professional working relationships with customers and employees;
- Proficient in Office 365;
- Ability to use discretion and handle confidential information.
Preferred Requirements:
- Marketing experience;
- Previous experience in a construction environment.
Physical Demands:
- Sit for long periods of time.
- Frequently enter data into computer with keyboard.
- Constantly communicate with customers and teammates through online chat, email and verbal exchanges.
